In Part 3 of my Week of Sakura Hunting series, I take you to three magical spots that happen to feature streams lined up with lush and fluffy cherry trees creating almost aetherial scenery. Nakameguro is undoubtedly beautiful, but it has gotten too packed to my liking, so I was on a mission to find equally stunning cherry blossom spots in Tokyo, minus the crowds. Banks of Sen River around TOHO Film Studio turned out to be a perfect place for a stroll. The reflection of the sky and sakura trees on the water took my breath away. On the other hand, Shukuragawa and Negawa streams turned out to be perfect spots for hanami, as both provided ample yet cozy space for a picnic. All three are located on the outskirts of Tokyo tucked away in the unassuming residential neighborhoods and provide that zen atmosphere I was after. Hope you’ll enjoy the photos.
Let me know in the comments which of these three spots you’d want to visit!
So which one of these did you like the most?
